Newbridge Glass supplies and installs glass to fit a huge variety of stoves and fireplaces, with options to suit almost all tastes and budgets. We pride ourselves on the quality of our glasswork, creating stove glass that is both durable and aesthetically pleasing. If you need a replacement service, just give us the measurements of the glass pane required and we can have your stove back to its optimum condition in a timely manner.

Maintaining Your Glass

The main concerns customers have with their glass is that it has become either cloudy or cracked.

Clouded glass often occurs because the fuel being burned has a high moisture content, or the materials being burned contain chemicals which cloud the glass (e.g. paper, cardboard, plastics). In order to maximise the life of your stove glass, we recommend only using trusted fuel sources.

Cracked glass generally occurs as a result of overloading your fire box. Logs can hit the glass or fall against it when closing the door or after the fire has been lit. Take extra care not to overload your fire box and to place your fuel in a stable position.
